Delete your account

Delete in the mobile app

Open the menu, choose Settings, then choose Delete Account. The app may ask you to sign in again before completing the request.

Request deletion on the web

Send the request from the email address registered to your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before deletion.

What is deleted

We delete the account and associated active-system data, including profile and birth data, chat history, calendar data, biometric samples and digests, plus any account-linked records in the retired legacy biometric table. Access ends immediately when you confirm. Your data is permanently erased after a 30-day recovery window.

Records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, subscription, or physical-order obligations may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Before deleting

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or from here. An active subscription does not prevent deletion.

Web subscriptions are cancelled for you as part of deletion - you do not need to cancel them yourself first. You will not be billed again. Access ends immediately, and time remaining in the period you already paid for is not refunded.

Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google, and we cannot cancel them on your behalf. Deleting your account does not stop that billing - cancel it in your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings.

Access ends immediately when you delete. Your data is then held for a 30-day recovery window and permanently erased after it. If your account was deleted by mistake or by someone else using your device, contact us within those 30 days and we can restore it. After 30 days it is gone and cannot be recovered.
