Refund & Dispute Policy

Summary

All purchases on Electric Astrology are final and non-refundable. This applies to physical books, digital books, audiobooks, and subscription access to PLC Beta. Subscribers may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the current billing period.

Why No Refunds

The moment your subscription payment clears, our systems perform irreversible computational work that cannot be reclaimed:

  • Your natal chart is calculated using the Swiss Ephemeris and permanently bound to your account.
  • A Welcome Report — a personalized 3,500+ word analysis written by Ganymede against your unique chart — is generated and delivered to your inbox.
  • Your account is provisioned with persistent storage, AI memory infrastructure, and live space-weather telemetry hooks tied to your birth data.

These actions consume real compute, real API credits, and real storage. They cannot be undone. For this reason, all subscription payments — including the first month — are non-refundable.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by clicking the "Manage Billing" link, which opens the Stripe customer portal.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You retain full PLC Beta access until that date.
  • No further charges will be made after the cancellation takes effect.
  • Pro-rated refunds are not issued for unused time within a billing period.

Physical Books

Physical book orders are routed to a print-on-demand fulfillment partner (Lulu or BookVault) at the time of purchase. Because each book is produced specifically for your order, physical book orders are non-refundable once submitted to the printer. If a physical book arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 14 days at the address below and we will arrange a replacement at no charge.

Digital Books & Audiobooks

Digital book and audiobook purchases grant immediate, permanent access to downloadable files and the in-browser reader. Because access cannot be revoked once granted, these purchases are non-refundable.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us first at the address below. We respond to all billing inquiries within two business days and will work with you to resolve any legitimate concern.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us results in immediate suspension of all account access — including any active subscription, digital library, and in-progress orders — pending the outcome of the dispute. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to the appropriate payment processor and credit reporting agencies.
